Worse some places than others. More rural down here, so it's more isolated to single dopers...No theft rings.

Quite common here, esp. with trucks. Police make regular warnings, announcements. Last fall when I was at my dealership I was told all 4 of their newly delivered trucks had their converters taken, like right off the lot.
