Did y'all get what you wanted?

So far I'm OK, although I'd like to see them beef up the O line more. Burrow still took far too many sacks and hurries last year.

But a good edge rusher like Miles Murray will help. Our penetration of opponents' line was minimal.

We got a tank for a LT. We have some interesting choices now. We have the 32nd pick (1st pick today) and 47…Khan has intimated that they would be interested in trading 32 (essentially a 1st rounder). We could move back to 38 and pick up a4th round and still get the CB we want…

Saints are at 40. Contrary to type, I think they stand pat and let the draft come to them at that pick.

The DT they drafted last night had been projected to them by 3/4 of the NOLA media .

The trade Pittsburgh won in three ways.

Pats are at 14, Jets are at 15, Steelers at 17. Pats want a D-Back named McDonald. There is nobody else between them and 17 that wants a D-Back. The Jets and Steelers are both salivating over Broderick Jones at OT.

So Pittsburgh gets Belichek to trade back to 17 by offering up their 4th round pick. Standard compensation for this move is a 3rd. Why did Belichek sell for so low? He wanted to screw the divisional rival, the Jets.

So who did the Jets pick? McDonald. The D-Back they didn’t need or want. Why? An emotional response, they wanted to screw the Patriots back. The Patriots then panicked and got a different DB way too high…

So not only did Pittsburgh get the guy they wanted? Two conference rivals screwed themselves…

                That's a great story.

                Nothing like intradivisional hate. 👍
