This is weird...

This morning, I had a friend over, and she asked if I could email a file (a piano score) to her. I did it at around 10:30 this AM.

Just now at 7:30 PM, I went to pour myself some (moderately cheap) Irish whisky, and as I was pouring, I thought, "I wonder if she got the score. She usually says it got there."

As I sat down at my desk, I just got an alert in my email thanking me.

Weird.

Is it premonition or is it a chemical imbalance that makes you think you were thinking about a current event in the past?

You think you thought about it before, but you didn't. The current event fell into a memory slot that makes it feel like an event in the past.

That is my theory.

For no reason, this morning I thought about how locals mention my accent. 'car keys' is a phrase they like to mock. I hadn't heard anything about it in quite a while, it was just a random thought this AM.

Then at the eye doctor this PM, the secretary held up her car keys and asked me, "What is this?"

I like Jameson, too, but would have put Moderately at about $10-$15 higher per bottle.
