I just got an alert that the woman who does my team's business support - all the admin, letters, company stuff, what used to be called a secretary, is about to celebrate 50 years with the company.
50 freaking years!

Working with you the last few years has probably felt as long as all of the other year’s combined…
Out of curiosity, is she in her sixties or her seventies?

I've worked with her for 20 years - I started in April 2003. I think she started straight out of high school, so I'm guessing she's in her 60's.
The funny thing is that she gets a company pension, and they match her 401K for 6%, so she'll probably take home more once she retires than she does now.
