“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

@Jolly said in Bank shooting...And mental health issues...:

          Mental health. Again.

Well, that's kind of a given. Anybody who goes into a building and shoots a load of people is clearly not in their right mind.

Buchheit-Sims, a manager at the bank, told CNN Sturgeon had a “monotone personality. His temperament is pretty low key. I’ve never seen the kid get angry or upset about anything in public. He was pretty much just relaxed.”

So, how do you spot that? Millions of people struggle with mental health. How do we know which ones make up the tiny minority that do this?

          I was only joking

Boils down to a couple of things:

            1. How can a mental health professional spot a possible shooter?
            2. 2nd Amendment rights vs.red flag laws. Who do we not let have firearms because of mental illness?

To be honest, I don't think that's going to solve it. These folks had no idea this guy was going to go postal. In addition, there's a real danger that mental illness is going to be further stigmatised here. It's already something that nobody wants to admit to, let's not jump in and start branding everybody who is suffering from a disease as a potential mass murderer.

Did the bank have an armed guard?
Did the bank had any unsecured side door?
