I'd still be concerned that there would be places of dry cement that you can't see, sandwiched between the wet/cured concrete. Have you ever used this method, Jolly?
I wonder if that particular mix is made for this type of process, as opposed to the usual method. -

I ranked it on my stupidity scale, just above digging a hole for a telephone pole with a posthole digger with ten-foot handles.
You auger not have done that.

The mix he's using is just everyday Sakrete.

You auger not have done that.
On the same stupidity scale was setting that pole in the hole with a Ford tractor, a shovel and a couple of chains.
I was the one holding the shovel as we slid the pole in the hole. Once a pole breaks over, they fall with a pretty impressive THUMP!

I’ve used the pour it dry stuff to mount tether ball poles, etc. but I’d not use if for anything structural like a patio.
