You probably don’t. But what you may have is a Chelsea Manning clone at work. From what I have been reading the past 48 hours the classified information in circulation is short on specifics and appears to have been altered. In other words, embellished with Russian disinformation.
As for the recruitment drive, it seems bizarre to go public about it. The primary intent is to co-opt Russians through covert means just as in the days of Cold War unpleasantness. In that way everything and nothing could remain as it seemed for the purposes of plausible deniability if things went south.
