The Hobbit

My granddaughter is currently enjoying reading The Hobbit. She picked it up after finishing The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
Not bad for a kid that doesn't turn 7 until next August, is it?

Smart kid!
Have you figured out where she gets it from?
I remember reading The Hobbit for the first time when I was 10. It blew me away like nothing I'd ever read before. My parents got me the sequel for my 11th birthday.

Nah, I'm just a labrat. Her dad is a postman. OTOH, her dad's mom is a PhD RN. Her brothers are both M.D.'s. Her dad was a M.D. and an O.D.
Did I mention I'm just a labrat?...
