Louisiana has a problem with young people leaving the state for better opportunities. A bunch of them are in Texas, but they go where the money is.
On the third map, I do see some growth in the Florida parishes. Historically, those are poor and very rural. I'm guessing that's people from Baton Rouge and New Orleans moving for the cheap land...And to get away from the crime problem.

Interesting to see local inner city orange surrounded by suburb blue. You see that in Houston and Dallas. I've only recently learned how entirely screwed up Houston is, with a pro-crime DA.
