“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      The republican party is broken.

How could Mr. Trump possibly end up as the nominee?

I'm not conceding it yet, but that is where it appears to be headed.

There should be several dozen well-qualified candidates lined up and ready to go - none over the age of 70.

He ropes the UK in with Canada and the US as being ungovernable, as though liberals are somehow to blame.

He handily ignores the fact that the Conservatives have been in power for 13 years, and the government has been getting progressively both more right wing and also more unpopular with every passing Prime Minister. The last few years have truly been an unforgiveable shit show.

The chances of the next UK government being Conservative are somewhere between zero and sweet FA. Even Labour couldn't fuck the next election up, however hard they might try.

On his main point, you've got to assume the next Pres. will be a Republican. Unless they pick Trump, when it's anybody's guess.

        I was only joking

Haley, DeSantis, Youngkin, and Scott all fit the bill…
