    I've rediscovered this drink this winter - I mix a strong IPA without about 1/3 - 1/2 as much ginger beer, either Goslings or Fever Tree as they aren't two sweet and have a bit of bite.

    It's delicious, and slows down the alcohol content a bit, which at my advanced age is probably a good idea.

          Yeah, lower alcohol consumption is big in the Mik house too. This week I’ve been sipping an Italian white - 5.6% by volume and very tasty. We’re on a pretty strict two drink limit, and that only a couple times a week. I don’t get hungover, just sluggish.

          Moderation claims another victim. I wouldn’t mind so much if the bar didn’t keep getting higher.
