It’s been often remarked here by several of us how much the MAGA right (and worse) have strayed from Reaganism.

This is an extreme example but worth sharing.

    Only non-witches get due process.

      Is he being sarcastic?

      It's actually hard to tell.

      I was only joking

I agree. In my reading of history, a lot of current Republics try to hold President Reagan on a pedestal. But that just shows that they really dont know what he stood for.

The Republicans have not have a winning and likable POTUS since Reagan. Bush I lost reelection, not winning. Bush II won reelection but ended his presidency with a financial crisis and a mess in Iraq. Trump lost the reelection and ended his term with bungled handling of the pandemic, just generally not likable beyond maybe the 36% of certain Republican faction. The Bushes don't like Trump, Trump doesn't like the Bushes, and they made this known publicly.

The Republicans simply do not have any presentable ex-President after Reagan, they are stuck with Reagan.

At least you didn’t spell his name, “Raygun”.

            Elbows up!
