Thank you for that awful mental picture, Jolly.

Mr. Trump will be the first former president to face criminal charges.
But he won’t be the last, now that this Pandora’s box has been opened.

And a shit case.
WTF is taking Georgia so long?
Ms. Kohrs might have created a few problems in that one.

@LuFins-Dad Only perceptions. She wasn’t a juror or anything. Case still has to be tried.

Hallelujah!
Did Bragg just reelect Donald Trump?

Nobody should be above the law. Is it a good case? I have no idea as I wasn't sitting on the grand jury. Apparently they thought so.
If a current. past, or future president breaks the law, charge them like any other citizen, and let a grand jury decide if there is reason to take it to trial.
I for one, welcome the opening of "Pandora's box" for all government employees, elected, or appointed. All of them. Even and especially, congress critters, senators, the FBI, CIA, DHS, IRS etc.
We did away with the concept of "The King" a long time ago. The president, sitting or former, should not be above the law. Period.
Let's rewrite the law for the presidential pardon too. It should be limited and need to be vetted by a independent council.
I absolutely 100% support the recent passage of the bill to take the war powers back from the executive. Giving them to the executive was blatantly unconstitutional.
Too much damn power in the hands on one individual.
A much welcomed, and long overdue reinstatement of the American government ideal.

I think that'll take a Constitutional amendment. THat's a big deal, and, though your thoughts are good, this is very, very unlikely.
