Half of New York's cases were because Cuomo let positive patients return to in nursing homes. I wonder if that affects the analysis.

Fauci was cautiously optimistic about the summer and we all listened to him. Funny how people don’t mention that as a reason for us letting our guard down.

Also Simpson’s paradox may not be correct if the older people are protecting themselves. A massive increase in 35 yo cases does little to the death rate, actually decreases the IFR.
