I prefer screw caps, then real cork, then synthetic cork. I despise plastic corks.

@Mik screw caps? for convenience? I guess I am a traditionalist when it comes to wine. Not that I drink much of anything these days. I had my first beer in forever yesterday. We went to a local restaurant/micro brewery for dinner and I had one of their IPAs.

The only thing more annoying than spending ages hunting down a corkscrew that has mysteriously disappeared is spending ages hunting down the corkscrew only to realise that it's a screw cap.

I guess I just associate screw caps with cheap, nasty wine.
