    I'm sure the show was edited to punch up the narrative, just like any other reality show.

    But I suspect that the Council was just as hostile as portrayed.

      And on a similar note, Clarkson said he will not do any new series past 2024.

      Now, whether he meant totally new projects, I do not know. As much money as he seems to be losing on the farm, perhaps he will continue with The Grand Tour specials and Clarkson's Farm. I suspect he makes more from that, than from hosting his game show.

        I have to say, as interesting as is show is, he does rather resemble the neighbour from hell if you're used to living in a quiet little Oxfordshire village, and then he shows up with a film crew and a massive entourage.

          Probably, but I read an article today about how farmers in that region love him.

          He's bringing a large megaphone and talking about farming issues that have been ignored.

            Yeah, I'm Facebook friends with a couple of farmers who I was at high school with - they own family farms. It's a bloody tough life, by all accounts, and not made any easier by all the rules and regs, and he's shed some light on it.
