Reminds me of a joke my uncle used to tell…
There’s was this old, god-fearing couple that had been together forever, but just didn’t get along at all. Constant bickering, constant nagging, constant criticism. They were both miserable, but they didn’t believe in divorce.
One day the lady says to her husband, “I think I have an idea. Let’s just pray real hard to the lord to bring one of us home. We’ll just pray and pray and pray, until the good lord takes one of us. Then I’ll go live with my sister.”
