    Different scales:

India’s population is growing. China’s population is shrinking but its industrial energy demand is still formidable.

You’re probably wrong on this one.

Yes, there are hundreds of posts with various experts debunking this famous picture.

They are, of course, all defending their entrenched position, no matter what.

Let's just take the simple approach and look at the water.

And we all know it goes up and down.

Yes, of course, with the tides as it always has - even since before the pilgrims probably landed elsewhere in 1620.

Plymouth rock - a/k/a American Stonehenge.

I'm sure there are worse tourist attractions, but I'll be buggered if I can think of one.

              I was only joking

Newfoundland is a rock. The picture posted above looks more like someone’s suburban garden feature than a site let alone a geographic place name.

They really need to put a garden gnome next to it, holding a fishing rod.

It is indeed. There are very few dug foundations where my family is from. The houses are anchored into the rock by cables, much like antennas or utility poles.

Copper, are you saying that after President Trump declined the coal industry, it took President Biden to bring it back.? LOL
