Question for Boris

Do you have a thing for Valerian root tea? Because oh holy crap, Meatball is obsessed. He's usually pretty well-behaved, but with this stuff it's impossible to get him away.
With an empty cup, he'll shove his head in to get down to the bottom and lick what's left. But he'll hold his head in there so long that the poor bastard forgets to breathe. He near-suffocates trying to get to the stuff.
We've two other cats and they couldn't give less of a crap about the tea. But Meatball's always jonesing. What about you?

(Not Boris - he's busy sleeping)
He's not into anything like that. Of course he, and Maggie, love 'nip. His favorite is the Churu squeeze-up treat - a night-time ritual.
Otherwise, he's pretty chill about stuff like that.
Besides, we don't have any "unusual" teas here.

I'm hooked on it now because I can't sleep for shit. But melatonin gives me sleep paralysis, which sucks.
@Mik how 'bout your kitties? Anyone else with cats experience this?

Yeah, it ain't fun. The tea's safe for me, though, and it works, so I stick with that.
Valerian root is also an early precursor to what @George-K did for a living.

Stella will gladly stuff her face down into any cup or glass, but that is the result of her intense desire to grok everything in fullness. Luna could not care less. Such opposites.
George, tell me about push up treats?
Edit: Never mind, I looked it up. We may try some as we’re always looking for little rituals for bonding. About 6PM they get soft food dinner, usually a packet with gravy. Splitting a tube by hand would be another good one. Around 9 or so they start milling around because they want us to go to bed, when they get fed Nighttime Kibble in our bedroom. They’re not even hungry, but that is the routine.

Boris and Maggie are very fussy about treats. Boris will eat the Dental Life treats (I give them after a brushing). Sometimes, he'll eat something else.
Maggie turns her nose up at EVERYTHING except the squeeze up.
