        This thread and the one about the SBC kicking out its second largest church, revolves around an interpretation of the Bible that has arisen in the last fifty years, or less. It concerns inerrancy and a view of the Bible akin to Dewey's...It's only a nice suggestion book written by men and it really needs to be viewed in correlation with modern society, snipping out the parts we are really uncomfortable with.

        Jesus has been placed in the Love box, ignoring much of his majesty and deity. It totally ignores his role as the Final Judge of worthy and unworthy and it argues for a minimization of Hell, if not an outright refutation.
