It's just footage. Send some to CNN.

Interesting. let's see what Tucker will say, which is being preemptively dismissed by Schiff, using identical talking points as we see here on TNCR to dismiss him.

Is there an extant right-wing "conspiracy theory" having to do with January 6? I mean the nuts and bolts of what happened that day, rather than the election theft nonsense. Just curious what conspiracy theory Schiff is referring to, which might be supported by the video. Or maybe he is anticipating a new "conspiracy theory", based on what he knows the video shows.

The right will cherry pick the portions that support its contentions as did the left. Yawn.

That’s my question, what contentions? The right is invested in minimizing the gravity of the situation, but how does video get cherry picked to support that minimization? Or is there something more specific they are looking to support?

I suspect they are looking for video that supports the contention that the left knew this was coming and let it go on unchallenged. Not sure why, I think that’s already been pretty clearly established.

                    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/media-organizations-demand-jan-6-videos-mccarthy-shared-with-fox-news/ar-AA17TYTq

In a letter to congressional leadership Friday, the media companies argue the footage McCarthy allowed Carlson and Fox News to access should be made available to other media groups.

The letter was sent on behalf of CBS News, CNN, Politico, ProPublica ABC, Axios, Advance, Scripps, the Los Angeles Times, and Gannett.

"Without full public access to the complete historical record, there is concern that an ideologically-based narrative of an already polarizing event will take hold in the public consciousness, with destabilizing risks to the legitimacy of Congress, the Capitol Police, and the various federal investigations and prosecutions of January 6 crimes," wrote attorney Charles Tobin.

n a statement, the U.S. Capitol Police chief said, "When Congressional Leadership or Congressional Oversight Committees ask for things like this, we must give it to them."

But there are concerns that a selective release of the video could reveal camera positions and security vulnerabilities.

Former U.S. Capitol Police Sergeant Aquilino Gonell told CBS News, "If Speaker McCarthy really wants to be transparent, he would have given the videos to all news outlets and not just the entertainers at Fox News."

And CBS, et al, were silent about the selected videos that the "Commission" showed. The demand for "transparency" now rings hollow.

It was all horse shit from the minute the Dems would not allow the GOP to sit who they wanted on the committee (unlike the GOP has done for the Dems).
