    Summary...

Viruses that replicate in the human respiratory mucosa without infecting systemically, including influenza A, SARS-CoV-2, endemic coronaviruses, RSV, and many other “common cold” viruses, cause significant mortality and morbidity and are important public health concerns. Because these viruses generally do not elicit complete and durable protective immunity by themselves, they have not to date been effectively controlled by licensed or experimental vaccines. In this review, we examine challenges that have impeded development of effective mucosal respiratory vaccines, emphasizing that all of these viruses replicate extremely rapidly in the surface epithelium and are quickly transmitted to other hosts, within a narrow window of time before adaptive immune responses are fully marshaled. We discuss possible approaches to developing next-generation vaccines against these viruses, in consideration of several variables such as vaccine antigen configuration, dose and adjuventation, route and timing of vaccination, vaccine boosting, adjunctive therapies, and options for public health vaccination polices.

Why don't you take a look at what Dr. Fauci wrote...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

BREAKING: Covid vaccines don’t stop transmission

        Only non-witches get due process.

BREAKING: Fauci had a pretty good idea that any benefit from the original vaccine was ephemeral and that any boosters would never cover the spectrum of COVID mutations.

            Not a complete waste

The Chinese, and Doctor Fauci, now have had a good test of the delivery vehicle.

As a bonus, many people will ignore the next wave, and skip the vaccine.

BREAKING: This stuff is really freaking complicated and we do the best we can.

I'm sure some internet and TV personalities can provide us with their additional expertise and expand on what the Doctors wrote.

              I was only joking

No, but you were not allowed to hear the breadth of medical discourse. The MSM took care of that.

Yes, this stuff is complicated. I find it very complicated. But I had my suspicions after just a few months in, that some people were lying out their ass, on both sides of the spectrum. Look, this shit can be as complicated as rocket surgery, but there are some immutable Truths:

                1. We've never gotten a vaccine for a cold virus. They mutate too quickly. This time is different?
                2. We poured most of our money and efforts into prevention and short-changed treatment research.
                3. We ignored natural immunity.
                4. We ran roughshod over patient's rights, long after we knew some of the things demanded by the government were poppycock.
                5. We lost a whole lot of the trust factor, which will impede the response in the next pandemic.
                6. On a scale of cost/benefit, it's no longer appropriate to vaccinate everyone. The CDC can spout what it wishes, the public now knows better.
                7. We need a better vaccine. Something similar to the flu vaccine, formulated yearly, without the side effects of the current offerings and given to those who need it the most.

I get the flu vaccine every year and I’ve always known it is very variable from an effectiveness standpoint. I don’t think my behavior would have changed if I’d read this article in early 2020. I always knew that this was very complex and uncertain.

What we knew 3 years ago:

It was an extremely contagious Coronavirus Disease that would likely be very dangerous to the elderly, those with weakened immune systems, those with chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Asthma, and those that are obese.

That's pretty much what we know now, except for the fact that there is still some unknown factor that can cause a percentage of otherwise healthy individuals to have more serious cases or face Long COVID. There is some question of whether Vitamin D deficiency plays a part.

Have you heard from any of our glorious leaders even once from either side of the aisle the suggestion that if you are overweight, you should probably lose a few pounds? Did you hear even once the suggestion that you should make sure your Vitamin D levels were okay? The fact that these obvious issues have not been addressed by the CDC or other public health agencies blows an awful lot of my credibility, in my book.

There should be an effort made to fix this.
