I like Peterson, and that was a clear and concise breakdown of the trans phenomenon using clinical reasoning and facts. Presenting that argument with the clinical documentation in a courtroom would be a very powerful and winning argument if there isn’t contrary documentation and evidence.

Then the rest is bomb chucking… I’m not going to say whether he is correct or not, I can’t really determine that, but it is inflammatory without a whole lot of supporting reasoning given…

I like Peyton Manning, you know as a person. He seems like a good guy and all, but in this one interview clip I saw, not ONCE did he pick up a football. I'm beginning to think he's all hype. I mean just look at the video clip and you'll see what I mean.

    Please love yourself.

I thnk if you'd ask Peterson to back up the bomb chucking with facts, he could do it.

The part about overbearing matriarchs turning college kids, particularly boys, into their surrogate children to twist and distort? That’s a pretty subjective statement. Hard to provide empirical data to support subjective statements. Strike that, it’s easy to provide empirical data to support subjective statements… Much harder to provide conclusive and unequivocal data to support subjective statements.

And I’m not saying that he’s wrong, I honestly don’t know. But I do know that the first half of the video is something that the second half of the video will alienate a large segment of people that would otherwise agree with him.

Winning friends and influencing people it isn’t…

Right, because this is the first time that Peterson ever chucked a bomb after laying out a well reasoned and very effective argument… It’s kind of his MO…

Peterson can absolutely be Locke, and he can absolutely be Demosthenes. I don’t believe he can or even should be both at the same exact time.

Ever had an international witch hunt try to take you out online over the span of a few years? Ever have thousands show up where you work to try to get you fired, time and time again? How about your enemies try to convince the world through online articles that you're crazy because you went on antidepressants when your wife got deathly ill? How about an entire licensing board that tried to ruin you professionally because they don't like your tweets?

If not, what's the closest thing you've experienced?

Plenty of other public figures have gone 'round the bend over less. That's why I think expecting him to be Atticus Finch is, to put it nicely, a little ridiculous.

          Please love yourself.

There's a series on that interview on YT. Multiple videos of Rogan interviewing Jordan in his Heaven/Hell suit.

I thought Peterson was pretty much on target in the interview. Do not see him as making any unsupportable a statements either. His observations of the world around him are very real and insightful.

The feminization and infantilization of the culture, which is the work of several generations of progressive white women, is something that needs to be said out loud, and it's good that Peterson does so.

There are lots of unsayable truths that resonate with almost everybody. For lefties, that resonance manifests as rage and disgust, as they feel their control of the culture slipping. For the rest of us, it's just an affirmation that our perceptions are connected to reality, despite the best efforts of the messaging we're surrounded with.

                Education is extremely important.

The "problem" is that he makes common sense. I enjoyed (well, that's the wrong word) his comment about how we normalize tucking in your penis and pretending you have a vagina.

We talk a lot about pendulums. Hopefully we're beginning to swing back.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

                    @George-K

I particularly agreed with Peterson on that point. It is not normal behaviour nor should it be considered normal behaviour. Deviant comes to mind, although that word conjures an element of violence or malevolence that might not necessarily be present. Abnormal or weird for sure.
