      On its face I do too. Not sure what else would do the trick.The devil, however, is in the usual spot. I find it hard to believe Washington can do something so simple and straightforward.

        It seems like it has to be part of the equation but it won’t get us close to covering the gap.

        Read his whole thread, but here he shows a table of what tax increases - some commonly discussed and some rather drastic - will bring in and how it relates to the shortfall.

        Only non-witches get due process.

          .1% tax on financial transactions, makes that change pretty far down the list. But remove the decimal, make it 1%, suddenly it's the star player in a new tax code. It's like the Democrats can't do math, it's all so simple.

          Education is extremely important.
