    A few points...

    1. Firearms should always be locked up around children.
    2. Safeties are good.
    3. The gun was a Glock and had nothing more than the safety in the trigger. Basically, point and pull after chambering.

“suffers from an acute disability and was under a care plan at the school that included his mother or father attending school with him and accompanying him to class every day.”

What disability requires the parents to come to the school?

          Thought that was interesting myself.

One of the biggest problems with public school is inclusion, without recourse. I'm sorry, but the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. No, I don't mean toss special ed to the wolves, but never let inclusion hold a class of kids back.

Of course the lawyer will claim that.

            But didn’t events prove otherwise?
