In my world? Oh yeah. By the law? Sadly no.

Agreed.
Now, will the state use this video as evidence to show that Baldwin is an unstable, authoritarian figure?
I wonder what Maxine Waters would say.

Who'd want to be famous?
Sure, he gets to live in a big house and what-not, but that shit would be awful.

Yup. But, what Mik said.
Meanwhile...
It's safer...

From the RWEC:
Lesser of two evils.
Am I a fan of Alec Baldwin? No. I am not sure how he got famous, and I donβt think I have ever seen him on screen or on television. And I harshly criticized his careless handling of a firearm that resulted in a death on the set of a movie in which he starred.
However. There are worse people. And in this video, you see one of them, as someone accosts Baldwin in a public place and demands that he say βFree Palestineβ and βFuck Israelβ so that she will leave him alone:
One can only wish that he had hit her harder.
I find it amazing that the writer has never seen Baldwin on screen.
"Hunt for Red October?" You've never seen it? What TF is wrong with you?

Iβve only seen him in Gengarry, Glen Ross as far as I can remember.

Red October is a great flick. Baldwin's character (Jack Ryan) is secondary to the plot. It deviates in some places from the book, but it's overall faithful to the book.
Check it out.

The same way you donβt watch any show, just at a different time and on a different channel.

Never have.
Me neither. Nor The Office or Parks and Rec. They all have a snide humor to them that I don't appreciate.

Same, for the same reason. I don't mind dark humor but I don't want to watch some effing Hobbesian wet dream, either.

How do you know what it's like if you've never watched it? Personally, I thought 30 Rock was hilarious. I didn't think it was particularly snide.
I watched a bit of Parks and Rec, it was OK. I didn't bother with The Office as it was basically a toned down version of the British show, which I found a bit uncomfortable to watch.

You also thought Wheel of Time wasn't particularly woke.

Ok, itβs not very snide by British standards.

Baldwin's trial is set to begin next month. His team has tried to disqualify witnesses, evidence etc.
During Guiterrez's trial, there was video showing Baldwin waving a gun recklessly, and using as a pointer.
Today, the state filed a finding that Baldwin fired a gun at a member of the film crew. The gun was loaded with a blank, but it speaks to his recklessness. Also, it is claimed that he wanted the "biggest gun possible."
Gonna be interesting.
