Never have.
Me neither. Nor The Office or Parks and Rec. They all have a snide humor to them that I don't appreciate.

Same, for the same reason. I don't mind dark humor but I don't want to watch some effing Hobbesian wet dream, either.

How do you know what it's like if you've never watched it? Personally, I thought 30 Rock was hilarious. I didn't think it was particularly snide.
I watched a bit of Parks and Rec, it was OK. I didn't bother with The Office as it was basically a toned down version of the British show, which I found a bit uncomfortable to watch.

I saw enough.

You also thought Wheel of Time wasn't particularly woke.

Ok, it’s not very snide by British standards.

Baldwin's trial is set to begin next month. His team has tried to disqualify witnesses, evidence etc.
During Guiterrez's trial, there was video showing Baldwin waving a gun recklessly, and using as a pointer.
Today, the state filed a finding that Baldwin fired a gun at a member of the film crew. The gun was loaded with a blank, but it speaks to his recklessness. Also, it is claimed that he wanted the "biggest gun possible."
Gonna be interesting.

A theory on whether Baldwin pulled the trigger or no.

Trial is scheduled for July 9, iirc. The judge is insisting that it last no longer than 9 days. State claims that they might need more. Defense says they will need 2 days, max. Judge says, I'll hold you to that.

Actor Alec Baldwin, currently facing involuntary manslaughter charges due to his 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust," is reportedly several months late on a payment for a civil suit filed by Hutchins’s widower and son, according to a recent New York Times report.
Hutchins’s lawyer, Brian Panish, told the New York Times that they might sue Baldwin, Rust Movie Productions, and related parties for a breach of agreement nearly three years after Baldwin fatally shot Hutchins with a replica firearm Baldwin alleges he did not know was loaded with live rounds.
The settlement, approved by a judge in June 2023, includes a series of annuities for Hutchins’s son, Andros Hutchins, who was nine years old when his mother was killed in 2021. Other details of the settlement have been sealed by the court, according to ABC News.Since the October 2021 shooting, Baldwin has faced a collection of financial strains. Baldwin put his $29 million estate in the Hamptons on the market, along with another half-a-million-dollar lake house in upstate New York. In January, Baldwin cut the asking price for the Hamptons home by $10 million. Baldwin also welcomed his seventh child in 2022.

He's doing a reality show. I suspect he's broke.

I watched one of the pretrial hearings. Apparently the defense had a list of witnesses whom they may call. They submitted the list by the deadline (as did the state). Once the list had been submitted, they discovered that one of the witnesses will testify that s/he saw Baldwin pull the trigger, which he has always denied. Having learned this, they want to disqualify the witness.
State objected to the motion.
Judge upheld the State.
This judge, by the way, is the same one who presided over the Guiterrez-Reed case. She can be a bad-ass.
