Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

        Interesting read.

Another factor I've read about is the fact that our moon is unusually large compared to other planets' satellites. The effect of the moon on oceans and climate in general is huge.

        No moon? No (earth-like) life.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Barely read 1/3 and found it unnecessary to continue.

          1. Ya’ll and the author really need to READ (not watch) The Expanse.

          2. Author also needs to take into account our own ability to adapt.

          3. Author and Ya’ll ought to also listen to Bobiverse…

The fact that we're here contains almost zero information regarding whether it's likely there is another planet like Earth in the universe. Via anthropic principle. An infinity of universes might occur before a single planet emerges capable of supporting sentient life, life which is in turn capable of pondering these questions.

            Education is extremely important.

I see no reason to believe that either of those two books are any better a predictor of my future than is 50 Shades of Gray.

              I was only joking
