    https://www.foxbusiness.com/features/more-insurance-companies-pull-out-louisiana-crisis

The report says lots of insurance companies have stopped doing business in Louisiana and many homeowners in Louisiana now cannot find or effort insurance for their houses.

@Jolly , does it look that way to you in Louisiana or is it just exaggeration by news reporting?

I suppose there are situations where there is no price for insurance, such that the insurance company makes money, on the low number of policies they could sell at that price.

An insurance company I know quite well will refuse to insure industrial and commercial properties if they deem the risk too great. They will advise if changes are needed - e.g. sprinkler systems put in, and if they're not made at some point they will decline to insure unless the building is brought up to code.

          I was only joking
