    I don't see why not. If they're British just don't try starting them on a cold, damp morning.

      You'd think that, being British, that would be the very first engineering problem to solve.

      Please love yourself.

            Sure. We need to give them whatever it takes to prevail.

              Tucker's not going to like this at all.

              Which is another good reason to do it.

                @Doctor-Phibes

                He’ll be outraged as I’m not at all certain that Tucker is aware that the UK is a sovereign country.

                    I wonder.

                    One of the "problems" with French, American, German and God knows what else equipment, is parts and service, especially if the equipment is a dozen here or there. None of this stuff is new and it's going to break. And different types of armor take different types of training. At least most of the NATO stuff can use the same ammo, in a pinch.

                    I don't know if this small amount of tanks may not cause more problems than they solve.

                      @Jolly

                      That’s a valid point. At least they can service older Soviet vintage equipment laying around in former WP arsenals.

                      More importantly it ties into the question as to what are NATO’s, and more specifically Washington’s, objectives in this war as this article from the Guardian points out:

                      https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/jan/10/us-victory-ukraine-lives-conflict-war-iraq-afghanistan?CMP=share_btn_link
