Why was there a gun in a first grade classroom?
        Whose gun was it?

Oh, I suppose first graders routinely pack heat. Probably the kid's own gat.

          Donchya think?

The obvious solution is to arm all the other first graders and teachers so this can never happen again.

            I was only joking

You guys don't understand the culture down here.

I watched the NN police commissioner on local news. He seems like a good guy. The news person put the microphone in front of him and he gave her all the facts.

He didn't have a podium surrounded by politicians. This was maybe an hour or 2 after the incident. He didn't wait hours or days to give the story, he just gave it. He told the whole story, except of course for names.

Of the students he said "They are safe. They are interacting with officers and having some fun, slapping some high fives and teasing each other,"

An unusual approach for a commissioner.
