I woke up at 3 am today, and tossed and turned. Couldn't get back to sleep and went to the guest bedroom. After an hour or so, I was able to roll over and return to sleep.
Then, I had the weirdest dream....
I was at work, and I was about to put my patient to sleep. I don't remember what the procedure was going to be, however. I injected the propofol, and then the muscle relaxant to paralyze her for intubation. When I put the laryngoscope in, I couldn't see the larynx at all.
The patient was AOC.
