THat's great, Rich.
Here's me. All walking.
650 calories per mile? That sounds off by a factor of five or so.
A quite impressive year summary, though.
You can see where I quit the gym in March.
You loose weight by not going? What’s the logic? Lost muscle mass?

I try to do HIIT sprinting a few times each week.
Anything lengthy like running or cycling for miles just gets boring. Skipping & punch bag are also dull but good work outs.Otherwise my daily go-to are suburi, juggling and planks, plus 20 flights of stairs.
Here's hoping for a replacement fitbit Christmas pressy as I find them useful, especially for this chocoholic -

The calories are daily totals I suspect And yes, 5 days a week at the gym built muscle mass that slipped away in a few months. I’ll get it back though.

I’ve maintained the same weight for about 40 years. Of course a lot of it is through exercise.
But but but, I have a scale in the bathroom and while the water heats up for the shower I get on it every day. When I am a couple of pounds over the average I eat less for a few days if I am under I don’t think aboutwhether to eat that bowl of ice cream.
I’ve probably stood on the scale over 14000 times. 5 seconds each time. Gives me the data I need for maintaining my weight.

You track all calories you eat? That's a lot of work.
No no no.
Thats Fitbit’s estimate of how many I burn. My only point was it’s probably a daily estimate not associated with just walking.
I’ve never paid attention to that. My weight has always managed itself unless I was sick or back in high school wrestling and had to stay precise about it.
