        What's the timing like? How much does it reduce spread at 6 weeks post shot, and how much at 16 weeks? What about 6 months?

        Anecdotally speaking? Quite a few of my double-vaxxed and boosted friends are on their 2nd or 3rd cases. It feels like most of my unvaxxed friends have had it once. And there are quite a few on both sides that think they had it but still don't know for sure because tests came back negative. (Including me...)

              XBB.1.5 is 70% of infections in some areas. The CDC still maintains that the bivalent booster does help with symptoms, but from everything I've seen, I can not see where the booster can stop transmission.

                Are Vaccines Fueling New Covid Variants?

                Prior to Omicron’s emergence in November 2021, there were only four variants of concern: Alpha, Beta, Delta and Gamma. Only Alpha and Delta caused surges of infections globally. But Omicron has begotten numerous descendents, many of which have popped up in different regions of the world curiously bearing some of the same mutations.

                “Such rapid and simultaneous emergence of multiple variants with enormous growth advantages is unprecedented,” a Dec. 19 study in the journal Nature notes.
