Paralympian Angela Madsen found dead while trying to row from California to Hawaii
A six-time Guinness World Record holder, she was declared dead at 11 p.m. PST on Monday, June 22, when the US Coast Guard discovered her body several hours after she last made contact with anybody;
"Angela was a warrior, as fierce as they come," [friends] wrote. "A life forged by unbelievable hardship, she overcame it all and championed the exact path she envisioned for herself since she was a little girl."

Wow!!!That is pretty inspiring. Do you stock your rowboat with enough "stuff" or do you have drops off? I am thinking of it like a long distance trek but much much much longer.

Her plan was to row 12 hours out of every 24, and apparently did so for 60 days. That's a hell of a load on a 60 year old body, regardless of being in good shape.
Nothing I have found states how she died. I wonder if she was tethered but in the water for the anchor repair. .
