The Taliban now forbids women from attending universities and from teachings. Formal education for younger women/girls was banned earlier. The Taliban has also imposed other new restrictions on women's movements and social interactions in Afghanistan.

Reminder - The undignified mechanics of withdrawal can be laid squarely at Biden's feet. The idea to withdraw was inevitable under any administration but the decision was taken by Trump.
