On the stove. Kind of cleaning up the fridge

    Completely unplanned, I threw in:

3 lbs of trimmed up brisket meat
    1/2 c brisket jelly
1 16 oz Bueno hot fire roasted green chiles
    1 qt unsalted beef stock
    1 large onion
    5 cloves garlic
4 roma tomatoes (may need more paste or some cherry tomatoes)
    1 T chile powder
    1 T cumin
    2 T oil

We will see how this cooks up. It's spicy, I can tell you that, with a long, low burn from the chiles. May add a beer or some masa.

I think it's going to be good...

Tis, thanks. I added the masa, a few small red and orange sweet peppers, a dozen cherry tomatoes halved and some umami granules. Delicious. Now I have it all packaged up in 6 serving containers for the freezer. I love to have that stuff handy when I don't feel like cooking.

It would have been better if I had a container of the red roasted chiles, but I'd have to go 15 miles to Jungle Jim's to get it and I just haven't felt like it. Now I'm out of chiles so I'll have to.

Bueno products are really, really good.
