A Father's Conversation With His Daughters
-
3-Year-Old: Can we go to Disneyland today?
Me: That's hundreds of miles away, and it costs a lot of money.
3-Year-Old: Tomorrow?

3-Year-Old: (Ties in a race.) We all win!
Me: Yeah!
3-Year-Old: And we all lose.
That got dark.

5-Year-Old: Can we have candy for dinner?
Me: No.
5-Year-Old: Can we have candy after dinner?
Me: Yes.
5-Year-Old: Can we have nothing for dinner?

3-Year-Old: You're the cutest.
2-Year-Old: (Hugs her.)
3-Year-Old- Except for me.

5-Year-Old: You're the best dad.
Me: Awww.
5-Year-Old: That I've met so far.

3-Year-Old: Why do you have a mustache?
Me: Why do you think I have a mustache?
3-Year-Old: To keep away girls.

Me: You're still in your pajamas.
5-Year-Old: I'll get dressed soon.
Me: It's four o'clock in the afternoon.
5-Year-Old: Don't rush me.
