    The Bengals offence is well rested for the second half.

    Evidently.

        That… Was impressive. I don’t think I have seen that many turnovers by one team in a row..

            Jeaux is definitely a second half guy.

              So many years where if the Bengals were down ten you could reliably go home. They weren't coming back. So glad to see the culture has changed.

                Did Joe force 4 consecutive turnovers?

                      Of course not. But he capitalized on them. Defense wins games.

                        Brady took his beating in his presser after the game . . . it was a sad sight, him having to come up with 15 different ways to say "we fucked up." Because that's of course all the press vultures wanted to hear.

                          Every other QB in the league goes through the same torture.

                            @Mik
                            Good to know. 😖

                            But, you know, I have often wished players and coaches would talk more footballese to the public -- stuff about strategy or psychology or any sort of reasoning behind what they do. It seems like they mostly talk baby talk. "Four interceptions and two fumbles don't win football games" is kind of duh-speak.

                            I understand they can't be too forthcoming without giving away secrets, but there seems to be so much more to understanding the game than they give out.

                              There is an absolute ton.

                              I lurk on a Saints board. One of the most read posters is a guy who has coached at the collegiate/NFL Europe/collegiate ranks, from go-fer to coordinator. He may be a so-so coach, but he knows football better than most.

                              The reason he's popular, is because he will occasionally break down the strengths and weaknesses of a player or a specific defense, pointing where errors were made or where a player does a good job.

                              Another guy that dies a good job on a more national level, without getting overly complicated, is Baldy's Breakdowns:
