How'd you fare through the storms? Any damage or any nearby tornadoes? Looked like it was headed right for you.

      Sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Lots of lightning. Hard rain at times. Lost the juice briefly a couple of times. Tornado watch until 0200 this morning.

      Animals weren't happy.

I wasn't particularly happy. My bestest barn cat managed to baptize himself somewhere in used motor oil, night before last. Cleaned him off after church Monday night, best we could, but he still has a very nice set of claws and there's only so much handling he'll put up with. So, I broke with tradition and actually spent some money on him Tuesday morning. Got him back from the Vet's about 1400 yesterday, but he was still staggering from the sedation. He fed good, but he wouldn't stay up by the house and I don't know where he rode the storm out.

Haven't seen him this morning, but I reckon he'll turn up.

If I didn't already have his cousin as the house cat, I'd cut his nuts off and keep him in the house...His temperament is that good.

Two in the house is a riot. Lots of chasing and pandemonium.

Glad you came away no more than inconvenienced.

Oh yeah. With at least two cats, any house you're in goes through short shots of Thunder Alley.
