@LuFins-Dad Mrs. George’s church got one. It’s about 10 years old, and uncertain about the size.

I’m told it “has a nice tone but the action needs work . Ugh $$$”

@LuFins-Dad I’m not sure of the details on how it was obtained. I’ll have more information by middle of next week. Looks small-ish to me.

Looks like a 5’7”. Built by Pearl River for Jordan Kitt’s and Schmitt’s. Good piano for the price, but my bet is that it was probably bought years ago for somebody taking lessons, tuned twice since then, and hasn’t seen an action regulation since Obama’s first term. Now they’ve donated it to the church…

May be the recording, but it sounds pretty tinny. Might be OK for a church.

@Renauda I was raised in the Roman Catholic tradition as well. Parochial elementary school and Catholic high school. WIth college, medical school, residency, etc, all that faded. On the rare occasions I did attend a RC service, I was shocked at how different it was from what I geese up with in the late 1950s through the late 1960s.

Mrs. George and I married into the Lutrin church in 1977, and the services and overall "feel" was similar to what I grew up with, other than the lack of Latin and that pesky extra sentence at the end of the Lord's Prayer.
