Yup. That's what people are saying in the replies.

It's a lot like the government equivalent of watching people wrap their heads around the realities of this. For my co-workers before the shutdown, it was, "oh noes, are they going to shut down my gym?" Then it was, "Oh I hate being cooped up like this, I can't wait to go back to normal."

Fewer people say that now with the economic news and the stories coming out of New York. We're through whatever looking glass this is. Most people understand that many things will now be different forever, and we're waiting to see how.

I figure we’ll get to tighter measures at some point.

Call me pessimistic, but I’m not convinced our current measures get R(effective) below 1. Though they are having a large effect for sure.

@jon-nyc I'm most pessimistic about our ability to safely predict the next spike if we relax these measures. I keep hearing from people in New York and this area who have suspicious symptoms and still can't get tested.

I think so - in fact horribly crowded.

They should make it 6am to 10pm. If you're serious, you can go outside those hours. But the vast majority won't.

8-10a and 7-10p will now be crazy busy.
