There are a lot of other examples of Western countries who went the other way, who had the same drop in homicides. If we're going to accept this example without qualifiers, we should do the same for the others.

My Brazilian experiment went south went I found out that I'm out of shaving cream.

Ah so now we're talking about qualifiers. Again, if you're going to cherry-pick the ones that support your point and ignore the ones that don't, well, you can do that I guess but I don't see the point of it.

No, what we are looking for is the impact of firearms and self-defense on a country without a right to self-defense and a high homicide rate.
