        It's not that simple.

        Everyone cares about the price of gas

        But for republicans lower prices are better

        For democrats higher prices are better, because higher prices are greener

            It's fun to say the Republicans don't always seem like they care about the purse strings, but at least there's a non-zero chance that they might.

            Education is extremely important.
