I think it is always interesting (or maybe funny), when there is a sports event for something like that in the US, and they interview they interview someone from the winning team.
"I want to thank God for letting us win the game today!!"
What???? Why did god hate the other team? Was he watching and influencing the game?

Yes, you think that God is up there influencing the game?
If he in influencing it, then is the end result already determined? If he wants Team A to win, then it doesn't matter what Team B does. Team A could lay down on the field and they would win, because God said so?
I think that there may be some superior being, but I also think that this being has better things to do than influence a american football game.
