    Baby rabbits eating the front lawn, baby turkeys pecking in the back. Neither of them appears to have any concept of self-preservation whatsoever.

          I'm afraid my daughter's heart would break. She's been trying to persuade us to adopt him. I suspect the local coyote may adopt him first, but I'm saying nothing.
