I think they are right about the lack of a vision. As savvy as he is, I think Mitch has fallen victim to simply having been there too long. It happens to most all of them.

Mitch seems like he's an expert at a type of politics that probably doesn't exist any more.
Maybe that's overstating it. I don't know that I can think of anyone more politically talented for his role.

It still exists. Cocaine Mitch's forte are the Senate's rules and regulation s. That's not going away. Mitch's problem is vision. As Mik said, too long hath he been there.

I just read that it’s actually Rick Scott, not Rubio, that wants the position.
