Trump vs. DeSantis

It'll play perfectly well for DeSantis to take the high road throughout any of Trump's mud slinging. With the added benefit that even direct hits by Trump will be ignored.

If I was deSantis, I'd definitely run. Trump is just going to dig himself in deeper and deeper with increasingly childish outbursts. He won the election for Biden - maybe he can repeat the achievement for DeSantis.

He'll run. As will many others.
I mean, you got a guy who barely eked out a victory against the most disliked woman in America, then lost elections in 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Even his candidates that won did horribly, relatively speaking. JD Vance won by 6 pts, while Governor DeWine won by 25pts on the same ticket. Portman won that same seat by 21pts in his last election.
I would think a lot of GOP potential candidates would feel obliged to run simply because they're tired of all the losing.

So are you telling us that the big orange Kahuna isn’t the winningest palooka he tries to make out he is to the world?

The Democrat Party is going to be encouraging President Trump to run. Best chance of victory for them if he is the 2024 runner.

They wanted him to run in 2016, and they were wrong. They want him to run again in 2024, and this time they'll be right.

Don't forget that during Mr. Biden's nuclear war the cities will be targeted.
And we all know that the cities are full of democrat voters.
There won't be many Biden voters left after the buttons are pushed.

Come on, if you were king of China and you got the up-close look at Mr. Biden this week, wouldn't you think now is the time?
Maybe it's now or never and they just don't have what it takes.

I suspect they are also looking at the sanctions on Russia and thinking they do not want to upset the economic apple cart.

"The best thing for DeSantis is Trump gets in, DeSantis stays out for a while, and Trump runs a race against himself for the next six months," a source close to Trump added.

Fundraising for who? Raised a lot of money this past election and kept it all (or at least most of it).
Doesn't seem like the person who thinks of anybody but himself.

I assume that was LD's point.

Maybe his tax returns will show otherwise. LOL
