Mik, if I may? The article says it produces a stronger immune response against Omicron than the original vaccine against Omicron. It doesnât say that it produces a stronger response overall, which is what the headline/link implies. Beyond that, yes, it damn well should produce a better response against Omicron. Thatâs not really news⌠Beyond that, why are sending out a press release without presenting the study?
The results, which Pfizer announced in a news release, have not been published in a medical journal or reviewed by outside scientists..
Then why make this announcement?
Two independent studies posted online late last month suggested that the updated shots do not offer better protection against the new omicron subvariants than the original vaccines do..

You know, this stupid article may have been just the thing Republicans needed⌠One thing that pissed me off about the Republican plan was their focus on the 2020 election and not on how badly many of our local leaders at the school board, city, county, and state levels fucked everything up. Winning control of the Senate will be nice, but the real Red Wave needs to occur at the Schoolboard, Mayor and County Commissioner levels. Weâve lost that.
This column helped remind a lot of people.
