Interesting but limited. I wonder about outcomes with the primary care model. It would seem only studying ER NPs would predict that outcome.

I forwarded on to Lucas as he is considering the NP or even PA path instead of medical school. He replied with the same comment that Mik made…

We'll soon know. Nursing is growing at an absolutely insane 30% growth rate right now. They already outnumber doctors 3 or 4 to 1 at a lot of patient care facilities. This is a live experiment.

Do nurses not usually outnumber doctors at most facilities? It takes longer to train a doctor than to train a nurse, and it costs more to keep a doctor on staff than it does to keep a nurse on staff.

Remember those millions who did not have healthcare until Mr. Obama gave it to them?

And remember those millions of illegals who get healthcare for free?

Did we magically create millions of doctors to give all that healthcare?

I assume that nurses handle a lot of that load. And I assume those sad cases need more healthcare because we don't have equity.

The deck is stacked against nurses.

              No justice, no peace.

The ratio is becoming even more extreme is my point.

Feed him saltpeter and send him to medical school.
